The short answer
The difference is what sits around the client data.
Both platforms combine glucose, nutrition, sleep and activity data. Levels Pro also puts lab panels and outside records in the same client chart, offers AI session prep, and publishes its sensor and platform pricing.
Levels Pro fits when
You also need labs and outside records
- You want CGM and lab panels in one client chart, ordered and shipped for you.
- You bill for ongoing care — a program, a membership, a retainer — and you need biomarker change to justify it at renewal.
- You want CGM, lab results, sleep and wearable data in the same client chart.
- You want a cheaper sensor. $99 for 30 days, $89 on subscription, no prescription.
Theia Health fits when
CGM, nutrition and wearables cover the program
- Your clients need a prescription CGM and you want a provider network to handle the prescribing.
- You want glucose, nutrition, sleep, activity and recovery in one app, and don't need integrated lab ordering or outside records.
- You don't want a monthly platform fee, and you'd rather clients pay per sensor.
- You use Biocanic or Practice Better and want client information synced with Theia.

What the platform costs you
What a sensor costs your client
Theia entries come from theiahealth.ai and its help center, read September 2026. They describe what Theia publishes. Where they publish nothing we say "not published" rather than claim the product can't do it. Theia has published an illustrative CGM supply and activation cost, but its help center directs users to in-app screens for current provider-plan, sensor and bring-your-own-sensor pricing. Confirm the current combination before comparing costs. If a row is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
What it costs
What you pay, and what your client pays.
Hardware, activation and software-plan fees shape the cost. Levels publishes current list prices. Theia has published an illustrative CGM supply and activation cost, but confirms current plan and checkout prices after signup.

- Free to join. Current provider-plan options and prices are shown after signup.
- Their public education materials include an illustrative CGM supply plus activation cost, not a current price list.

A 90-day program
The whole bill.
Three sensors at $99, a 28-marker panel at $99, the client app free. That's $396 of client-side supply, and you price the program at whatever it's worth. The platform fee doesn't move. $199 a month, $99 if you commit to credits, unlimited activations whether you enroll one client or eighty.
Being fair
Where Theia Health is the better call.
Three situations where we wouldn't recommend Levels Pro over Theia. Better you hear it here than four weeks in.
You need a prescription sensor.
Theia fulfills prescription devices through their physician network. We ship Stelo over the counter but don't do the prescribing.
The sensor is the offer.
If CGM, nutrition and wearable insights cover your program, you don't need lab ordering or document parsing, and you shouldn't pay for them.
You want to start before choosing a paid tier.
Theia is free to join and shows provider-plan options after signup. That can suit a practice that wants to explore the workflow before choosing a monthly plan.
If one of those is you, start with Theia. Come back when you need lab ordering, outside records and CGM data in the same client chart.
Switching
You can run both while you decide.
Nothing here asks you to switch anything off. Practices that end up moving usually leave current clients on whatever they're already wearing and enroll the next cohort with us.
- 01
Enroll one cohort
Put five clients on a 90-day Levels program. Everyone already wearing a Theia sensor stays exactly where they are.
- 02
Put the two charts side by side
Compare what you can see at the follow-up. Theia's glucose, nutrition and wearable reports, or a Levels chart that adds lab panels and outside records.
- 03
Move only when the numbers say so
No export, no migration, no contract to break. Your chart of record never moves, because we never asked for it.
Questions we get
Four straight answers.
- Is Levels Pro a replacement for Theia Health?
- It can be if you need integrated lab ordering, outside-record parsing, AI session prep and published sensor pricing alongside CGM, nutrition and wearable data. If Theia already covers your program, you can keep current clients there and compare the platforms with a new cohort.
- Do I need an EHR to run Levels Pro?
- No. Levels Pro isn't a system of record and doesn't try to become one. If you run Practice Better, Healthie or Cerbo, keep it. If you run nothing at all, nothing changes.
- Can I keep pricing my program the way I do now?
- Yes. Levels sells you CGM and lab credits at practice pricing. A 30-day sensor supply is $99, a 28-marker panel is $99, and we take no cut of what you charge a client.
- What does Theia Health cost?
- Theia is free to join. Its public education materials include an illustrative CGM supply and activation cost, not current list pricing. Theia also supports outside-prescribed Libre and Dexcom sensors through a paid monthly bring-your-own-sensor plan. Current provider-plan, sensor, activation and BYO prices are confirmed in-app after signup.
